TO-SHIN DO AFFILIATED TRAINING GROUPS NOW LISTED ON SKH QUEST SCHOOLS PAGE
You will notice a re-arrangement of the SKH Quest Affiliate Schools page, reflecting a new listing of To-Shin Do Training Clubs.
Affiliated Training Clubs are groups of students practicing together informally without an Affiliate School License from SKH Quest, who generally meet the following minimum requirements:
- At least 5 people, but not more than 35, training together
- Training in non-full-time facilities shared with other groups (not a full-time school dedicated to teaching To-Shin Do)
- Under local organization by a person holding at least Blue & Black Belt in To-Shin Do
- Under direction of the Hombu in Dayton or a Senior Black Belt with a licensed Affiliate School
- Processing rank promotions through the Hombu in Dayton or a Senior Black Belt with a licensed Affiliate School
- Registering each member with the Hombu in Dayton for $25 per year, giving all members access to the SKH Quest Forum
- Authorized to teach To-Shin Do, but not receiving the wealth of SKH Quest school operation and administration programs restricted to SKH Quest Affiliate Schools
- Group director attends Annual Autumn SKH Quest Festival in Ohio each year
Interested in registering an affiliated training club? Here's what you need to do to get started:
- Earn at least Blue & Black Belt in To-Shin Do
- Create a direct personal training relationship as a student under direction of the Hombu in Dayton or a Senior Black Belt with a licensed Affiliate School, who will handle the details of your training group's registration with Hombu
- Gather at least 5 people to train together
- Be sure you own a copy of the 12-DVD To-Shin Do Black Belt Distance Learning set
- Be sure you own a copy of the "Coach" DVD and Workbook
- Register to attend the August 9 & 10, 2008 Dayton Hombu Dojo Warrior Quest “Chi no Maki” Ninja Training Seminar
