December 2011 Graduation

Our final graduation celebration of 2011 was a rousing riot of fast-made decisions under pressure, way unfair size advantages against the smaller people, and a few spontaneous totally unexpected gang attacks aimed at seniors with lots of stripes on their black belts – all chaotic just the way all the Dayton Quest Center members like it! Dayton River Clean-up

Our SKH Quest Center Dayton team took part in the July 9 & 10, 2011 Little Miami Riverkeepers 10th annual clean-sweep weekend. To-Shin Do warriors got to practice their cutting, lifting, and in-water action skills in community service on the Little Miami for two hours following Saturday classes. The Little Miami River is Ohio’s first state designated scenic river, a title from back in the 1960s. Natural debris and man-made junk gathers to block water flow, and invasive plants like honeysuckle, grapevine, and Canada thistle choke out strong tree growth on the riparian corridor. The...
