It's only natural, male or female will feel more on the path of self awareness and enjoy life more if feel secure to take care of themselves along with their loved ones.
Thanks to To-Shin Do this is possible!

Really good to see the female perspective! It helps us not to make too many assumptions on why women would train in the martial arts. As an interesting side to this, a book called 'The Gift of Fear' states that if you ask men when they last felt afraid they tend to find it difficult to remember, but women asked the same question tend to say every day. This shows how different men and women view things.

Anshu,
This is a great article, Thank you for your willingness to hear another side and prospective. I enjoyed hearing Mary Casey's view on self-defense. It was interesting to see this article come up at this time. A friend of mind told me recently that a friend that we have in common will not come and will not let her husband come to graduation or come watch classes because she thinks martial arts is not for women. Maybe I should show her this article. I would love get her into the dojo to show her otherwise, but she has some major physical problems from car accident that would not allow her to train. So that idea is out for now. Seeing this article was very timely for me. It gave me more information to use when I talk about To Shin Do with others. Again Thank you for sharing!!!
